ABSTRACT: This study explores the impact of early childhood education on understanding international cooperation among young children. Objectives include evaluating children's understanding of international cooperation, identifying effective educational practices, and assessing the long-term benefits of early cooperation education. A survey design was chosen for its efficiency in gathering broad data. Purposive sampling was employed to select 180 children from preschools in Edo State, Nigeria. Findings revealed that children exposed to cooperation education demonstrated a better understanding of the importance and practice of international cooperation. Activities such as collaborative projects on global issues, discussions on international partnerships, and interactive lessons on cooperation were particularly effective. The study recommended integrating international cooperation education into early childhood programs to promote a better understanding of global cooperation from an early age.
